PROCEDURES AND DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO OBTAIN US VISA
Comprehensive list of documents needed for a US visa application, details about each document, and procedures in their suitable format.
A significant part of the US visa application procedure is collecting the essential documents. After you have decided the visa category you are required to apply for, you should check the necessities and start collecting the documents that are necessary for that visa.
There are certain documents that the embassy or consulate of the US needs from all applicants no matter what category of visa they desire to attain. Be cautious to have all these documents when you hand in your visa application.
All documents not written in either English or the approved language of the country in which the session will take place must be translated. Translations must be certified by a licensed translator.
THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR A US VISA:
Previous USA visas: If you have visited the US earlier with an older passport, then you should carry it with you on the day of the interview at the embassy or consulate. The US authorities need earlier visited visas are able to show that you have entered the country before.
Invitation letter: An invitation letter for a US visa is a letter written by a United States citizen or legal resident, endorsing that they are ready to concede their relations with whom they have family bonds or relationship, and also that they have sufficient room for the visitor for the complete period of their stay in the US.

Family Documents: Birth certificates, marriage certificate, close family photographs, adoption certificate, divorce certificate, spouse’s death certificate, etc.
Letter from a physician: You are mandatory to schedule a medical appointment with an authorized physician in the country where you will be interviewed. You must do your medical examination with an embassy-approved doctor. Tests conducted by other physicians will not be recognized.
